The Myers Lady Titans got two kills, two aces and one block from Danelle Sumberaz in their 25-22, 25-10 victory over the Rodriguez Lady Vipers on Thursday night in eighth-grade A-team action.

Kelsey Head had a serving streak of five points and Janiah Allen had two digs and two kills as Myers evened its record at 1-1.

Myers ‘B’ d. Rodriguez

The Myers Lady Titans were forced into the third set before taking a 25-12, 20-25, 15-13 win over the Rodriguez Lady Vipers.

Zoe Knight led Myers (1-1) with eight service points.

Myers ‘C’ d. Rodriguez

Ziya Brooks had six service points and Katie Ventrca and Mocha Wysinger turned in a strong defensive effort as Myers defeated Rodriguez 25-19, 16-25, 15-7.

Crownover ‘A’ d. Little Elm

Kyndal Stowers, Mariah Watson, Emily Johnson and Claire Shroeder all played well for the Crownover Lady Cowboys in their 25-14, 25-19 victory over Little Elm.

Crownover is now 2-0 for the season.

Little Elm beat Crownover 25-21, 25-22 in the B-team game.

Harpool ‘A’ d. McMath

Kylie Freeman had 11 service points in the first set and four more in the second set as the Harpool Lady Longhorns improved to 2-0 with a 25-17, 25-23 win over McMath.

Olivia Wood, Reese Decker, Hayden Brock and Anna Woodfin also had strong service games for Harpool.

Harpool ‘B’ d. McMath

The Harpool Lady Longhorns used a strong service game from several players to register a 25-14, 25-13 win over McMath.

Ava Moore, Aubrie Benton, Brenna Stell and Mallory Jones led Harpool’s service game as the Longhorns improved to 2-0.

Harpool ‘C’ d. McMath

Alivia Christenson, Summer Shuster, Paige Luzader and Sydney Schachter were service leaders for Harpool (2-0) in its 25-8, 25-13 win over the McMath Lady Tigers.

Crownover ‘C’ d. Little Elm

Landry Sokolosky led the way for Crownover (2-0) in its 25-19, 25-23 victory over Little Elm.

Seventh grade

Myers ‘A’ d. Rodriguez

Halli Keese had a nine-point service streak to lead the Myers Lady Titans to a 25-14, 25-19 sweep of the Rodriguez Lady Vipers.

Emily Shelton had six aces and London Lancaster and Maddy Wright each had three aces for the Lady Titans (2-0).

Rodriguez ‘B’ d. Myers

The Rodriguez Lady Vipers rallied from a first-set loss to defeat Myers 17-25, 26-24, 15-7.

Anna Sevier led Myers (1-1) with service streaks of eight and seven points.

Myers ‘C’ d. Rodriguez

Jessa Woode had six straight service points as the Myers Lady Titans defeated Rodriguez 25-15, 25-17.

Harpool ‘A’ d. McMath

Zaria Jones, Autumn Danobeytia, Madelynn Hokanson, Katie Woerner and Ava Houser had five service points apiece as Harpool defeated McMath 25-17, 25-9 to improve to 2-0.

McMath ‘B’ d. Harpool

The McMath Lady Tigers rallied after a first-set loss to defeat Harpool 14-25, 25-17, 15-10.

Grace Weimer had four service points, and Isabella Muresan, Hannah Gibbins and Tatum Dunaway each had an ace for Harpool (1-1).

Harpool ‘C’ d. McMath

Bryanna Russell had three aces, one dig and 10 service points to lead the Harpool Lady Longhorns past McMath 25-11, 25-16.

Julia Sonoski had two aces and Olivia Starnes had one kill as Harpool improved to 2-0.

Crownover ‘A’ d. Little Elm

The Crownover Lady Cowboys evened their record at 1-1 with a 25-17, 25-13 win over Little Elm.

Crownover also won the B-team match 25-6, 25-23 and the C-team match 25-8, 25-18.
