The Guyer Lady Wildcats went on a two-out rally in the fifth to score four runs and take a three-run lead before holding on to beat Southlake Carroll 7-5 on Tuesday.

The big hit of the inning came when Ryan Gallegos belted a three-run homer to left field to give Guyer a 7-4 lead.

Morgan Medford finished 3-for-4 while Eva Myers had two hits and scored two runs for the Lady Wildcats.

Ranci Willis got the win, allowing three runs while striking out four in three innings of relief.

Aubrey 17, Sanger 5

SANGER — The Roos sisters went a combined 5-for-8 with seven RBIs as the Aubrey Lady Chaparrals collected 17 hits while cruising to a run-rule win over Sanger.

Laney Roos hit a home run and collected seven total bases, while Lexi Roos had two hits and five RBIs.

Laney Roos earned the win, surrendering eight hits and three earned runs through five innings.

Jessica Grimes and Emma Spears also had 3-for-4 nights for Aubrey.

The Lady Indians committed six errors.

Aubrey (18-1-2, 7-0 District 11-4A) will host Gainesville at 6 p.m. Tuesday, while Sanger continues play Tuesday at Celina.

Decatur 6, Ryan 4

After tying the game at 3 in the fourth, Ryan surrendered three runs to Decatur in the fifth inning of a nondistrict loss.

Caitlyn Sanders gave up all six runs to Decatur, but only two of those were earned. Ryan committed three errors.

Abby Buettner went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the Lady Raiders at the plate.

Gunter 2, Ponder 0

GUNTER — Gunter pitcher Elizabeth Schroeter struck out 14 Ponder Lady Lions while throwing a one-hit shutout to grab a district win.

Braidyn Burr collected the only hit for Ponder. Burr also took the loss in the circle, allowing just two runs and two walks.

Ponder returns to action Friday at Sadler S&S Consolidated.

Denton 5, Justin Northwest 1

FORT WORTH — Ashanti McDade struck out nine and allowed two hits in leading the Denton Lady Broncos to a big road win at Justin Northwest.

McDade also tripled in a run to go with multi-hit performances from Cat Carter and Grace Fleitman.

Denton collected 10 total hits compared with Northwest’s two.

Pilot Point 9, Whitesboro 1

PILOT POINT — Falling behind 1-0 after two innings, Pilot Point responded with nine unanswered runs to defeat Whitesboro.

Pilot Point star Christine Billmeier threw a complete game and struck out 11 batters. Billmeier also went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a home run.

Kenedee Gist also had a superb night at the plate, finishing with three hits, three RBIs and a double.

The Lady Bearcats moved to 6-2 in district play and will travel to Pottsboro on Tuesday.
