ARGYLE — Krum scored two early runs, but Argyle bounced back in the third with a triple by Abby Williams that sparked a three-run inning and a 3-2 victory for the Lady Eagles on Tuesday.

Argyle kept its one-run lead until Lanie Rodgers threw a key strikeout to end the game, leaving Krum’s tying run on third.

Rodgers had three strikeouts and allowed two hits.

Despite 12 errors by the Lady Eagles, Krum was not able to mount a comeback.

Kennedy Brooks had seven strikeouts in three innings pitched for the Lady Bobcats, and Kamryn Downhour led from the plate with one RBI and one of Krum’s two hits.

Argyle will play at Euless Trinity on Friday while Krum hosts Decatur.

AUBREY— Aubrey scored 22 runs in the first inning of a blowout of Gainesville.

Jessica Grimes went 3-for-3 with four RBIs, and Laney Roos and Nia Bengtzen each went 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Lauren Trott had two strikeouts in two innings pitched for the Lady Chaps.

Aubrey (19-1-2, 8-0 District 11-4A) will play at Anna on Friday.

THE COLONY— Ryan faced an early one-run deficit before The Colony increased its lead to 13 over the next three innings.

Ryan’s Caitlyn Sanders and Brittanie Schneider each went two innings in the circle, while Alex Guerrero led the hitting effort for the Lady Raiders by going 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Ryan will host Braswell on Friday.

CORINTH — After giving up four runs in the top of the first, Lake Dallas scored one in the bottom but was unable to find any more offense against Little Elm.

Allie Buchanan led the Lady Falcons with one RBI.

ADDISON — Liberty Christian took a one-run lead in the second and added two in the fifth to beat Addison Trinity Christian.

Liberty’s Sydney Hughes went 2-for-2 with one RBI, while Gracie Arthur had one strikeout and only allowed four hits in six innings.

Liberty Christian will host Dallas Bishop Lynch on Friday.

POTTSBORO — Pilot Point led 3-2 going into the seventh before adding two runs to close out a victory over Pottsboro.

Christine Billmeier had eight strikeouts for Pilot Point, while Maiah Morris went 2-for-3 with a home run.

Pilot Point is 7-2 in district play and will host Gunter on Friday.
