Chandler Pullam threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third to lead the unbeaten Crownover Cowboys "A" team to a 40-0 eighth-grade victory over Lake Dallas on Tuesday night.

Pullam connected with Jace Wilson on an 80-yard touchdown pass and hit Jackson Red Foster with a 15-yard scoring toss before scoring on a 2-yard run. BJ Phillips had two touchdown runs and Grayson Obara scored on a 60-yard run.

 Jacob Ambriz, Zane Royston, Carson Parham, Zach Brooks and Rylan Whitworth also were singled out for their play for Crownover (3-0).

Crownover 'B' 16, Lake Dallas 6

The Crownover Cowboys used a pair of touchdown passes to pick up their first win with a victory over Lake Dallas. 

Juan May hauled in a 55-yard scoring pass from Jacob Davis for the Cowboys' first TD before Dillon Gervais connected with Jaxon Pirtle for a 20-yard TD strike. Gervais added two extra points for Crownover (1-2).

Navo 44, Strickland 0

Kaden Trevino, Dylan Krause and Jayson Jones each played key roles in the Navo Panthers' first victory, a shutout of the Strickland Vikings.

Trevino scored two touchdowns on identical 60-yard runs, Krause scored on runs of 8 and 12 yards and Jones threw a pair of TD passes — a 25-yard strike to Kelby Trevino and  a 35-yarder to Dylan Ryan. Gabriel Rodas added four extra points as Navo improved to 1-2.

Navo 'A' 14, Calhoun 6

The Navo Panthers, behind Ty Bartlett and Jacobi Elder, picked up their first victory with a win over the Calhoun Cougars.

Bartlett scored on a 20-yard run and ran in the conversion to start the scoring for Navo (1-2). Tatem Thompson completed a 42-yard touchdown pass to Elder, and Journal Williamson added the conversion.

Steven Richardson led the Navo defense with eight tackles and three tipped balls.

Navo 'B' 35, Calhoun 0

Five players scored touchdowns as the Navo Panthers rolled to a shutout win over Calhoun.

Anthony Buiniskis opened the scoring barrage with a 20-yard interception return for a TD. Matthew Rodas scored on a 45-yard run, Kaden O'Neal ran 20 yards for a score, Taj Nash scored on a 30-yard run and Miguel Montenegro closed the scoring when he returned a fumble 30 yards for a touchdown. O'Neal, Rodas and Matthew Johnson had conversion runs as Navo improved to 3-0.

Crownover 'A' 18, Lake Dallas 0

Ryan Yaites scored twice to help lead the Crownover Cowboys (3-0) to their shutout victory over Lake Dallas.

Yaites scored on runs of 12 and 22 yards, while Peyton Bowen got Crownover's other TD on a 38-yard run.

Crownover's Sutton Lee, Aiden Mobley and McClain Wylie were singled out for their play on offense, while Ryan Quintero, Brenden Bradshaw and Yaites forced fumbles and Andrew Coplin and Isaiah Pride had fumble recoveries.

Crownover 'B' 30, Lake Dallas 14

In an early meeting of unbeaten teams, the Crownover Cowboys stayed perfect with a win over Lake Dallas.

Four players scored for the Cowboys (3-0), with Jack Bradley getting the scoring started with a 65-yard run. Cesar Nava dashed 12 yards for a score, and Cage Powell scored on a quarterback sneak after Brock Shoopman set up the drive with a interception. Brock Bristol wrapped up the Crownover scoring with a 5-yard run. 

Wyatt Storey, Alex Cedillo, Sawyer Meador, Jay Cordeiro, Hudson Hoskin, Carson Schmitz, Ernesto Rivas and Timothy Cardona were key defensive players for the Cowboys.

McMath 'B' 8, Strickland 0

Julian Durazo scored the lone touchdown as the McMath Tigers knocked off Strickland for their first victory.

Durazo scored on a 5-yard run and finished the evening with 75 yards rushing. 

Sebastian Berlanga recorded a safety for the Tigers (1-2), while Jacob Mares had one sack and Ryan Kennedy had an interception.
