Sutton Lee scored two touchdowns as the Crownover eighth-grade “A” team remained unbeaten with a 45-0 victory over the Calhoun Cougars on Tuesday night.

Lee scored on a 21-yard punt return and later caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Blake Courtney as the Cowboys improved to 8-0.

Crownover’s other touchdowns came on a 45-yard run by Isaiah Pride, Bryson Riggs’ 22-yard run, a 45-yard pass from Brad Pruett to Si Stoval and Ted Tamplen’s 55-yard run.

Harpool ‘A’ 22, Lake Dallas 14

Jackson Arnold scored two touchdowns and had an interception to lead the Harpool Longhorns (7-1) to victory over Lake Dallas.

Arnold, who finished with 154 yards rushing on 10 carries, scored on runs of 2 and 56 yards, while Blade Carver scored Harpool’s final TD on a 25-yard run and Cam Posada added two extra points.

Lake Dallas defeated Harpool 6-0 in the “B” team game.

Myers ‘A’ 36, Navo 0

Jordyn Bailey caught a pair of touchdown passes from Khalon Davis and Kalib Hicks ran for two TDs as Myers (7-1) shut out Navo.

Bailey caught TD passes of 25 and 40 yards, and Hicks, who had 115 yards rushing, had scoring runs of 2 and 55 yards. Jaavonne Jones closed out the scoring for the Titans with a 35-yard run.

Chris Cambridge was a standout for Navo’s defense with six tackles and two sacks while Blake Fann also had six tackles. Steven Richardson led the Panther offense with four catches for 66 yards.

Myers ‘B’ 6, Navo 3

Brody Quillin scored Myers’ touchdown in the Titans’ win over Navo.

Mathew Rodas kicked a 30-yard field goal for Navo (3-4). Nehemiah McCain led the Panther offense with 91 yards on 14 carries, while Ngwa Kapapi had five tackles and two sacks.

Rodriguez ‘A’ 39, McMath 0

Tristan Strange led McMath (0-7-1) with 45 yards rushing while Chucky Holbert had 40 yards. Strange had three tackles and an interception, and Bryce Ashbaugh had three tackles and forced a fumble.

Seventh grade

Crownover ‘A’ 55, Calhoun 0

Eli Bowen scored twice and quarterback Pierson Rougeau passed for three touchdowns as the Crownover Cowboys overwhelmed the Calhoun Cougars.

Bowen scored on a 55-yard kickoff return and caught a 23-yard TD pass from Rougeau, who also threw a 14-yard scoring pass to Hunter Howe and a 55-yarder to Chase Thomas.

The Cowboys (6-2) also scored on a 70-yard run by Trey Joyner, Nathaniel Hernandez’s reception from Logan McLaughlin and McLaughlin’s 34-yard run.

On defense, Vincent Burke had an interception and fumble recovery, Howe had an interception and Zach Baudo, Jaden Collins and Braxton Haffa were singled out for solid play.

McMath ‘A’ 35, Rodriguez 7

Milford Kamara scored three touchdowns as the McMath Tigers picked up their second win with a victory over the Rodriguez Vipers.

Kamara scored on runs of 69 and 43 yards, returned a kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown and finished with 165 yards rushing as McMath moved to 2-6. Josh Romero hit Jason Neal with a 20-yard TD pass and Taylor Brown scored on a 10-yard run to close out the scoring for the Tigers.

Defensively, Kamara had five tackles, two for losses, Romero had three tackles, Brown had two tackles and Jackson Higgins had three tackles while playing on special teams.

Myers ‘A’ 28, Navo 6

Reymundo Izaguirre scored for Navo (2-6) on a 77-yard run as the Panthers fell to Myers.

Izaguirre finished with 12 carries for 126 yards, while Eli Stokes led the defensive effort with 12 tackles, two pass deflections and two forced fumbles. Iyiolaoluwa Solomi had eight tackles and two sacks.

Myers ‘B’ 6, Navo 6

Myers’ Gavin McKnight returned a fumble 90 yards for a touchdown and Navo’s Aiden Cruz scored on a 7-yard run as Myers and Navo tied.

Panther quarterback Malachi Okunbor completed seven of 10 passes for 97 yards while Austin Okoli led the defense with eight tackles and two sacks. Nicholas Cook had four tackles, two tipped passes and one interception.
