The unbeaten Harpool Lady Longhorns eighth-grade “A” team wrapped up the regular season Thursday night with a 40-20 victory over the Myers Lady Titans to finish with a 14-0 record, going 8-0 in district play.
Raini Akbar and Sophia Placke had 11 points apiece and Madi Lumsden added 10 to lead Harpool.
The Lady Longhorns also won the B-team game 31-9, as Carys Stephenson led the scoring with 10, Anna Woodfin, Hayden Brock and Lilly Marker each had four points and Harpool finished the season 8-0.
Jade Bello scored 12 poitns and Mercie Weimer had eight as Harpool (5-0) won the C-team game 25-4.
Crownover boys d. Calhoun
Connor Newton scored 23 points to lead the Crownover Cowboys to a 63-15 victory over the Calhoun Cougars.
Brendan Bradshaw added eight points and Jaydn Fritsch six as the Cowboys finished the regular season with a 14-2 record.
The Crownover “B” team went 13-1 after defeating Calhoun 44-12. Caleb Cowan led the Cowboys with 11 points while Brad Pruett and Cael Perkins each had seven.
Crownover recorded a 37-0 shutout of Calhoun in the C-team game. Jordan McGee led the Cowboys (7-0) with 10 points, Alan Luna had six and Pierson Adam and Sawyer Meador each had four.
Rodriguez boys d. Strickland
Robert Jones scored 18 points, Dylan Smith had 17 and Mark Nuby 13 to lead the Rodriguez Vipers to a 52-25 victory over the Strickland Vikings.
The Vipers finished the regular season 8-0.
Lake Dallas boys d. Navo
Lake Dallas used a second-half rally to take a 29-27 victory over the Navo Panthers.
Dylan Burnham led Navo (9-4) with 10 points and seven rebounds while Damajai Brown had six points, nine rebounds and six steals.
Myers girls vs. Harpool
The Myers Lady Titans raced out to a 10-point first-half lead en route to a 31-17 victory over Harpool.
Kennedy Evans led Myers with 22 points and Halli Keese and Brooklyn Weier had four apiece as the Lady Titans improved to 8-0.
In the B-team game, Harpool held Myers scoreless in the first half and went on to record a 30-6 win.
Crownover boys d. Calhoun
The Crownover Cowboys, propelled by a 21-0 first-quarter surge, wrapped up the regular season unbeaten at 8-0 with a 71-8 triumph over Calhoun.
Jayson Demcher led the scoring with 27, Braxton Haffa had 10, Matthew Carter eight and Jackson Langford seven, and Logan McLaughlin led the Cowboys in rebounding.
Crownover (5-3) dominated the B-team game, winning 57-1 as Hunter Howe led the Cowboys with 19 points, Pelumi Olanipekun had 12, Jack Hickerson eight and Hawk Bowers six.
In the C-team game, Merrick DeReamer and Jordan Waggoner had nine points apiece as the Cowboys defeated Calhoun 47-2.
Little Elm boys d. McMath
Little Elm built a 25-point first-half lead and went on to defeat the McMath Tigers 52-17.
Hayden Gunter and Matthew Pena each had six points for the Tigers (2-6).
Little Elm won the B-team game 66-16, as Taylor Brown and Alex Evangelopoulos led the Tigers (3-4-1) with five points apiece.
In the C-team game, Little Elm was a 43-2 winner.
