Harpool used a 24-point scoring outburst in the first quarter on their way to a 58-14 victory against Navo in the opening round of the district tournament on Thursday night.
The victory pushed the Lady Longhorns’ record to 15-0.
Madi Lumsden was the game’s leading scorer with 18 points and four steals, Ashlin Crabtree had 10 points, K.K. Jones had nine points and three assists and Summer Shuster added seven points.
Little Elm boys d. Navo
Navo’s fourth-quarter rally fell short as Little Elm held on for a 37-35 win.
Damajai Brown led the Panthers (9-5) with 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Josh Jackson finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Dylan Burnham had six points and 16 rebounds.
McMath girls d. Calhoun
After a sluggish start McMath used a strong second-quarter scoring output to break open a tight game and roll to a 25-17 win.
Annie Meador led McMath (1-8) with eight points, Katelyn Haley added six and Ti’mya Johnson had five.
