The Crownover eighth grade A-team used a 18-4 run in the fourth quarter to break open a tight game and pull away for a 55-38 victory against Navo on Thursday night.

Crownover (13-2) was led by Connor Newton’s 23 points and Peyton Bowen’s 17.

Josh Jackson led the scoring for the Panthers (4-2) with 21, and Dylan Burnham added 14.

The Cowboys’ B-team (11-1) rolled to a 64-30 win against Navo as Brad Pruett led the way with 14 points. Cael Perkins and McLain Wylie had 10 each.

Ashten Riley scored seven points, Jordan McGee had five and Jax Wilson added four as Crownover won the C-team game 26-21.

Rodriguez boys d. Harpool

Rodriguez jumped out to a 11-0 first quarter advantage and cruised to a 51-22 triumph.

Dylan Smith led the Vipers (5-0) with 14 points, four assists and three steals. Robert Jones had 13 points, five rebounds and five assists, Kegan Byrd had 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Mark Nuby finished with 10 points, four rebounds and two steals.

Calhoun boys d. McMath

Calhoun jumped out with a double-digit first half lead and coasted to a 40-21 win.

Calhoun’s Jason Lobdell led all scorers with 18 points, and Jason Smith finished with 12 as Calhoun picked up its first win of the season. Bryce Ashbaugh led McMath (1-4) with seven points.

McMath built a 18-point first half lead en route to a 36-13 victory against Calhoun in the B-team game. Jonathan Weaver led the Tigers with 10 points and Christian Schmuhl added nine.

The Tigers’ C-team was a 18-11 winner as Jacob Mars scored five points and Guillermo Gonzalez had four.

McMath girls d. Calhoun

McMath improved to 2-3 with a 38-3 victory against Calhoun.

Kendyle Hall led the Lady Tigers with 19 points, Maggie Wainscott added nine and Brooke Stewart finished with eight.

Myers girls d. Little Elm

Janiah Allen had two blocked shots and eight steals to go along with 16 points to lead Myers to a 29-17 victory.

Mercedes Burnett added seven points as Myers improved to 3-2.

In the B-team game, Myers held off a fourth-quarter rally by Little Elm to take a 14-12 victory. Tayla Barnett led the Lady Titans (1-3) with five points, Lela Johnson finished with four.

Little Elm won the C-team game 16-6.

Seventh grade

McMath boys d. Calhoun

Josh Romero scored 11 points and Matthew Pena added 10 as McMath (1-4) rolled to a 49-13 victory.

The McMath B-team held Calhoun scoreless in the second half to claim a 39-5 victory. Jason Neal led the Tigers (2-2-1) in scoring with 16.

Saif Habib scored six points to lead the McMath (1-4) C-team to a 11-3 win against Calhoun.

Calhoun girls d. McMath

Annie Meador led the Lady Tigers with eight points and Ti’mya Johnson had five, and Calhoun defeated McMath 18-15.

McMath (2-3) knocked off Calhoun 26-17 in the B-team game as Courtney King and Maili Walker scored eight points each for the Lady Tigers and Nakeya Barr had six.

In the C-team game, McMath and Calhoun battled to a 10-10 tie.

Calhoun did not submit a game report.

Crownover boys d. Navo

Crownover remainded unbeaten at 5-0 with a 49-24 win.

Jayson Demcher led the Cowboys with 17 points, Eli Bowen and Logan McLaughlin had eight points each and Jackson Langford finished with seven.

Navo (5-0) won the B-team game 42-32 as Hawk Bowers led Crownover (3-2) with nine points.

The Panthers’ C-team defeated Crownover 15-7.

Myers girls d. Little Elm

Delana Gayle hit a game-winning layup and added a free throw to lead Myers to a 35-32 win.

Kennedy Evans led Myers scoring with 27 points as the Lady Titans improved to 5-0.

Little Elm won the B-team game 38-13 as Jayanna Minto led Myers’ scoring with six points and Maddy Wright added four.

Little Elm also won the C-team game, 10-4.
