LC state VB title

The Liberty Christian volleyball team poses with its banner and trophy after knocking off Fort Bend Christian to win the TAPPS 5A state championship, the Lady Warriors’ second state title in the last three years.

Coming off a state semifinal loss last fall, Liberty Christian played with a point to prove in dropping just one set throughout its run to winning the TAPPS 5A state championship.

The Lady Warriors won their second state title in the last three years Friday night in pulling off a competitive four-set victory over Fort Bend Christian. They lost in the semifinal round in 2021 after taking the TAPPS 6A crown in 2020.
