NTF Rodeo Saturday

Wyatt Mason, left, and Judd Napier on their way to the win during the North Texas Fair Bull Blowout Cowboy Protection Match Saturday night.

The bulls proved to be the big winner on the final night of the Bull Blowout at the North Texas Fair and Rodeo on Saturday night because no cowboy made the required eight seconds to get a score.

Kyle McDaniel, who rode in an earlier performance, finished as the overall winner of the Bull Blowout and won the custom buckle from Squaw Creek Silver.

Team North Texas Bingo took the top spot in the team event on the final night with their score of 147.5 followed by the Rudy’s BBQ team with a 140. Splitting third with a 136.5 were Team Medical City and Team Cavender’s.

The winners of Night 2 in the cowboy protection bullfighting contest, Judd Napier and Wyatt Mason, representing Team Cavender’s emerged as the overall winners and both took home a custom Squaw Creek Silver buckle, one of the most coveted buckles in the bullfighting world.
