SANGER — Aubrey stays undefeated atop District 11-4A with an 31-28 overtime win against Sanger on Friday.

Kaia Saylor led the Lady Chaps with 19 points, while Gracie Grisso had six and Rhianna Stevenson four. Chloe Malone scored nine points for the Lady Indians, supported by Kenzie Turkoly with five and Rylee Hudson with four. Aubrey faced a three-point deficit going into the fourth quarter but was able to tie it up late and come out on top in overtime.

Aubrey is now 7-0 in district and will host Gainesville on Tuesday, while Sanger drops to 4-3 and will travel to face Celina on Tuesday.

CORINTH — Lake Dallas defeated Little Elm to improve to 7-3 in District 8-5A.

Jorja Elliot led the Lady Falcons with 13 points, supported by Dorian Norris with 10 and Mackenzie Buss with nine. Lake Dallas’ defense shined, holding Little Elm to fewer than 10 points in every quarter.

Lake Dallas is 20-11 overall and will play Denton on Friday.

ARGYLE — Liberty Christian defeated Aledo to improve to 21-9 on the season.

Payton Oltrogge led the Lady Warriors with 16 points, while Bailey Lewis had 15 and Aimee Alverson eight. Liberty Christian built a 27-16 lead at the half and were able to hold off a strong comeback attempt from Aledo in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.

Liberty Christian will play next against Fort Worth All Saints’ Episcopal on Tuesday.

PASADENA — Calvary cruised past Watauga Harvest Christian.

Lucy Parson led the way for the Lady Lions with 18 points, while Kelsey Simmons contributed 14 and Gracie Sammons had 12. Calvary shined on both ends of the court, forcing 30 turnovers while also shooting better than 40 percent from the field.

Calvary Academy will play next on Tuesday against Fort Worth Lake Country Christian.

SANGER — Aubrey defeated Sanger to improve to 3-2 in District 11-4A.

The Chaparrals were led by Hayden Smith with 17 points, while Jayden Hollis had 13 and Austin Carter 10.

Hank Lemons led the Indians with 15 points, supported by Tre Peoples and Zach Cochran with 11 each. A strong third quarter from Sanger left the game tied going into the fourth quarter, but Aubrey capitalized in the early minutes of the quarter to close out the victory.

Aubrey will host Gainesville on Tuesday, while Sanger drops to 0-4 in district and will travel to face Celina on Tuesday.
