Help and support Trump

Donald Trump has been an outstanding president for the United States, showing us growth and improvement in all fields of the government.

He has shown us growth in all areas, especially giving the ladies help in obtaining more and better jobs with a chance of more income. He has pressured the lowly Democratic Party as much as possible or support in stronger growth and safety of the nation and especially the border protection.

This border has had strong support from all directions and overseas. Donors seeking means to help the massive movements across the borders. Who is furnishing these massive groups with the funds and support to get them to our borders?

Today, we have the four female new members of Congress in the Democratic Party who are working to “take over” and make it even worse. They are total failures and not being honest. They want to put us in the same category as some of the foreign countries that are working to destroy the USA.

Trump has told them that “if they truly hate America,” go home and let our capable elected individuals, who are honest, both Democrat and Republican, do their duty and teach this group something before they are capable of destruction.

Help and support Trump — not the young unknown Democratic members of our Congress.

Separation of church and state

Regarding the separation of church and state, to Franklin Graham, Robert Jeffress, Tommy Nelson, and all other pastors who endorse political candidates:

Separation of church and state is for the protection of both the church and the state. For it is written that “whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” Matthew 18:6

Using your position in this manner may have done irreparable damage to both the church and state.

Furthermore, lest you forget, on the day of judgment, he will also say to those on His left, “Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire, which has been prepared for the devil and his angels, for I was hungry, and you gave me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not let me in ... to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.” Matthew 25:41-45

It should not be necessary to remind pastors, but “love is of God,” whereas the devil is the “father of lies.”

With my signature, I expect you will disregard all of my words since you obviously do not value women, but I hope you will find it more difficult to ignore God’s word.

RE: Fast food, but not fast food

In response to the July 17 front-page article titled “Food fast, but not fast food” about the fully equipped, student-staffed Bus Stop Bistro: What a great idea! Kudos to DISD for greenlighting Marcus Bourland’s idea to create an innovative student-based idea for the culinary program at DISD.

The photographs show a really remarkable transformation from a school bus to a traveling restaurant. The menu, guided by culinary arts teacher Tonya Trivis, made my mouth water. It’s truly not your ordinary food truck.

More importantly, it’s a real-life experience for the students to learn how not only to cook but to run a successful business. I predict that this idea will go viral. Good for DISD. I want a grilled cheese panini.
