Eight times too many

Eight times Sen. Mitch McConnell has refused to bring legislation designed to prevent Russian interference in our electoral system. Eight times he has had the opportunity to protect this country’s voting integrity, and eight times he has refused to take any action. Eight times he has had the opportunity (actually his duty) to protect both Republican and Democratic voters from our most serious adversary. Eight times he has refused to do so.

How many times must Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, demonstrate he is more supportive of Russia’s attempts to swing our elections in favor of the GOP before any Republican raises even their little finger to question his actions?

Why has Mitch McConnell refused, eight times, to take any action against Russian interference in our elections? Interference that was designed to help Republicans. What “deal with the devil” has Mitch McConnell made that would make him sell out the United States? What “deal” is so great he will sell out his own country? Eight times passing on the opportunity to take any action to stop the Russians, and not a peep from the Republicans forces us to ask the question “Why?” What do Mitch McConnell and the rest of the GOP have to gain by taking no action, eight times, when action is so obviously needed?

Perhaps it is time (our last chance?) to remove the Republicans willing to sell out the country for reelection and vote them out of office.

Eight times! How many times is enough to change your mind?
