Roy, who grew up in the Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home in Denton Texas, passed away on January 16, 2023 after a 2 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 2 granddaughters, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and several nieces and nephews. He was an employee at the University of North Texas in Facilities Maintenance from 2008 to 2022 when he retired. A celebration of life will be held at 3311 Danbury Cove Corinth Texas on February 25, 2023 from 12 noon to 4 pm.
