Several community events have been rescheduled or canceled in anticipation of severe weather this weekend: 


First Refuge Ministries announced that it has canceled its annual Mustache Dash scheduled for 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.

First Refuge Ministry also cancelled the Mobile Food Pantry, which parks at the ministry offices on the second Saturday of the month. The Mobile Food Pantry will return in May.    


Denton Community Market opening day was postponed from Saturday to 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and moved to the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney. 

DCTA 'Rails to Trails' in celebration of National Trails Day will be postponed from Saturday to June 1. 


The 26th annual Redbud Festival, slated for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, will move its activities inside the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St. The popular "Trashion Fashion Show," produced in partnership with SCRAP Denton, will move under the awning just outside of the civic center.
