The United Way of Denton County will host two kickoff breakfast meetings to launch the new campaign year in early September. 

Both meetings will feature panelists from the private and public sectors to discuss the needs of the Denton County community, and how public-private partnerships can help form solutions.

Panelists are Chris Watts, Denton mayor; Andy Eads, Denton County judge; TJ Gilmore, Lewisville council member; Donna Barron, Lewisville city manager; Roxanne Del Rio, North Central Texas College dean of student affairs and outreach; Laura Behrens, community investment volunteer; and Danielle Shaw, city of Denton community development manager. 

The Denton event is scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday at the University of North Texas Gateway Center, 801 North Texas Blvd. The Lewisville event will be at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lewisville at 785 Texas 121.

Tickets are available online for both events at unitedwaydenton.org/kickoff. Individual tickets are $35, and a table that seats eight is $200.
