Denton will see mostly sunny skies today with a high temperature of about 75 degrees and 5-to-10 mph winds.
But overnight, there will be a 30% chance of rain and thunderstorms, ushering in a week of possibly stormy weather. The low temperature will be about 56 degrees.
Commissioners Court
Denton County Commissioners Court is back to work today. The Commissioners Court will hold a public hearing to consider a zoning change request to change 15 acres of land in Precinct 1 from agricultural use to residential/commercial use. (Precinct 1 encompasses most of the county north of U.S. 380 and some of eastern Denton County.)

Coyote Music Studio is offering opportunities for children to learn developmental skills or families to bond through music games, music history, piano, ukulele and voice.
There are two age group classes, one for infants to 6 years old and another for ages 6 to 12. These classes are inclusive of all musical abilities and are taught by board-certified music therapists. Classes are $15-20 per family.
