Sunny to showers

This week is starting off sunny with a high temperature near 60 degrees, 15 to 20 mph with as high as 30 mph.

But clouds will start to move in and tonight has a 50% chance of showers, mainly close to midnight. The low temperature will be 38 degrees with 15 mph winds and gusts as high as 25 mph.

Scratch soap making

Grab a beer and a ... glass of goat milk? Yep. Denton County Brewing Co. is hosting a goat milk soap making class Tuesday. All materials to make two pounds of soap from scratch are provided. Anyone 16 and up can participate. Tickets are $60 and must be purchased in advance.

• Where: Denton County Brewing Co., located at 200 E. McKinney St.

Sewing crash course

Starting a new creative hobby can have you wondering, "Where do I even start?" The DIME Store has the answer. In its Tuesday crash course workshop, students can learn sewing basics.

A local seamstress will explain how to thread sewing machines, thread bobbins and troubleshoot machine issues. They will also provide instructions on making a tote bag. Pre-registration is required and the class costs $35.
