Motorists and residents can learn more about planned improvements to the Interstate 35W frontage road at a public meeting Thursday in southwestern Denton County.
The Texas Department of Transportation will hold the meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. at Argyle Middle School, 6601 Canyon Falls Drive.
No formal presentation is planned. TxDOT representatives will be available to answer questions in an open house-style meeting.
TxDOT plans to build both northbound and southbound frontage roads along I-35W from Dale Earnhardt Way in Fort Worth to the Interstate 35E/I-35W interchange in Denton.
The frontage roads would consist of two travel lanes, one mixed use, and a sidewalk in both directions. The improvements are expected to cost $296 million, with construction beginning in 2023.
Project information and maps will be displayed at the meeting and available online at keepitmovingdallas.com.
