Edward Frank Wolski, M.D., entered into an agreed order with the Texas Medical Board to settle a long-running complaint against him.
Wolski agreed to complete at least eight hours of continuing education on medical record-keeping after the board found he failed to maintain adequate records in 2010, state records show.
The board filed a complaint last year with the State Office of Administrative Hearings, claiming Wolski failed to meet the standard of care with three patients treated for workplace injuries. The violation of board rules included prescribing addictive painkillers without maintaining adequate records of the action.
The case went to mediation in October. The order, dated June 14, resolves the formal complaint.
