A security guard at Golden Triangle Mall had a busted lip when officers arrived at J.C. Penney on Thursday night, according to a police report.

The guard told officers a woman punched him in the mouth after she arrived after hours to the department store and was told to leave, the report shows. He asked her to leave, then she got angry and assaulted him, police said.

Police said the man didn’t want to be driven to a hospital and the woman was not at the scene by the time they arrived. She fled the area after assaulting the security guard, police said.

700 block of Lakey Street A 22-year-old man punched his mother in the face Thursday night, according to a police report.

The man was angry at his mother because she agreed with his child’s mother to watch the child, the victim told police. Police said the man was not at the residence when they arrived.

3100 block of Bandera Street A woman told police Thursday night that a man put her in a chokehold at a Greyhound bus station after he asked her to bring him along on the trip she was taking, according to a police report.

The man also stole the woman’s bus ticket, police said.
