A 50-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were arrested Wednesday night and charged with criminal trespassing after police responded to a report that someone entered a vacant home in the 2700 block of Roselawn Drive, according to a police report.

Police said entry was gained after a bolt outside the home had been cut, according to the report. In addition to the criminal trespassing charge, police said the man, Gary Lane, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault causing bodily injury, according to the report.

The incident was reported to police at about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday.

2100 block of Stella Street — A caller said eight pairs of shoes were stolen after the caller’s door was left unlocked, according to a police report. The estimated value of the stolen items is about $1,100. The incident was reported at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday.

500 block of Inman Street — Police responded to a criminal mischief report after a caller said Wednesday evening that their vehicle’s front passenger tire had been slashed and the tire was completely flat. Police have not identified a suspect, according to a police report.

The damages to the tire totaled an estimated $150.

500 block of South Interstate 35 East — A caller reported that a computer and a variety of jewelry were missing from their home after they returned to find a door pried open, according to a police report. The missing items were estimated to be worth about $8,700. The incident was reported at about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday.

2400 block of Stockbridge Road — A woman said her purple Honda Pilot was stolen sometime Wednesday morning after she parked at an apartment complex overnight, according to a police report.

620 block of Boardwalk Lane — A woman said two of her vehicles were spray-painted overnight in her driveway, according to a police report. The caller said she was not aware any possible suspects. Police said they are still investigating.

2400 block of East McKinney Street — A 57-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with criminal trespassing after police responded to a report of a suspicious person at The Veranda Apartments, according to a police report.
