A man told police Sunday afternoon he sprayed Mace on three dogs running up to him in the 200 block of East University Drive, according to a police report.
The report does not indicate the dogs bit or attacked the man, but he told police he felt threatened by the dogs and used the pepper spray to stop them “from attacking him,” the report shows.
The man said the dogs were not on leashes.
The report did not indicate what happened to the dogs after they were sprayed with Mace, and police did not say Monday where the dogs were located after police arrived to the scene Sunday.
200 block of South Elm Street — Police took samples of “a large amount of blood” that was reported to authorities in front of a business Sunday morning, according to a police report.
Police said they did not find any injured people nearby and were going to look at any available security camera footage to determine how the blood stains got there, the report shows.
600 block of Mayhill Road — A man told police Sunday afternoon two motorcycles were stolen from his storage unit, according to a police report. Police said the lock on the storage unit was broken.
I.O.O.F. Street — On Sunday morning, a driver was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, and a passenger was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop, according to a police report.
From 7 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday:
