Denton police said a man kicked his way through a wall and ran into another motel room Thursday afternoon as he tried to get away from officers, according to a police report.
A police spokeswoman said a man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief at Knights Inn, in the 600 block of North Interstate 35E.

When they arrived at motel, police said the man kicked through the wall and entered the next room. Officers found him in a bathroom, the spokeswoman said.
He was arrested and as of Friday afternoon had been charged only for criminal mischief.
