Police arrested a 26-year-old man at Medical City Denton on Tuesday morning and charged him with harassment of a public servant after he allegedly spat on an officer, according to a police report.
Police said the man was beating on doors and punching glass.
The report states he was being “aggressive” and verbally abusive to people around him.
While police tried to arrest him, he allegedly spat on an officer’s face. He was taken to jail on the single charge.
3000 block of Fort Worth Drive — An employee told police his 2002 Ford F-250 pickup was stolen sometime during the workday on Tuesday, according to a police report.
4100 block of Aqueduct Drive — A handgun was reported stolen Tuesday morning from an unlocked truck, according to a police report.
900 block of Springcreek Drive — Someone told police Tuesday night they heard two gunshots in a neighborhood, and when police searched the area, they learned that a man had shot a copperhead with his handgun, according to a police report.
No crimes were committed, police said.
