Police said three men — two of them with handguns — entered a 7-Eleven in the 3000 block of East University Drive at around 5 a.m. Sunday and demanded an unspecified amount of cash from the store’s clerk, according to a police report.
No injuries or gunshots were noted in the report. The suspects made away with the cash.
A Denton police spokeswoman declined Monday to give descriptions of the three suspects because investigators were still following leads in the aggravated robbery case.
3500 block of Airport Road — Employees at the Target Distribution Center told authorities Sunday afternoon they found a co-worker unconscious and it seemed like his clothes had gotten caught in unspecified machinery, according to a police report.
Police said the employees pulled the man off the machinery and began doing CPR on him before firefighters arrived. The victim was not visibly injured according to the police report, but he was taken to a Denton hospital. Police officials said they did not know his condition as of Monday afternoon.
100 block of West Hickory Street — A woman told police she found her vehicle parked near the downtown Square after she said it was stolen Sunday evening somewhere on Avenue A, according to a police report.
1500 block of South Loop 288 — A man who was sleeping outside of a Walmart store was arrested Sunday morning on a charge of criminal trespassing, according to a police report.
The man was given a criminal trespass warning last week at the property, police said. Someone called the police Sunday to report he was sleeping on the property, the report shows.
This time, he was arrested. The police report also shows he was wanted on two moving violation warrants.
