U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess, R-Pilot Point, will answer questions from the public on Tuesday, when he hosts a town hall meeting in Lewisville at the start of Congress’ summer recess.
His staff announced in a news release Thursday that the congressman will speak and take questions from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Westside Baptist Church in Lewisville.
The news release said Burgess will key on three main issues: national security, the economy and affordable healthcare.
Burgess will be on a month-long break from Washington, D.C., for Congress’ summer recess.
All of Burgess’ U.S. House District 26 constituents are invited to attend the free town hall.
Westside Baptist Church is located at 900 West Bellaire Blvd. in Lewisville.
