The Haislip and Stucky families are beyond thrilled to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of Taylor Haislip and Addison Stucky. The couple, who became engaged on a family Christmas trip to Galveston, plans to begin their new lives together on May 31 with a wedding and reception at the Denton Country Club.
The bride-to-be, Taylor, is the daughter of Becky Haislip of Dallas and Skip Haislip of Richardson. She attended Plano East Senior High School and will earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in May. Taylor currently works as a UNT Eagle Ambassador.
The groom, Addison, is the son of Alan and Mellina Stucky of Corinth. He is the grandson of Turner F. Gassaway and the late Joyce Gassaway of Denton. After graduating from Guyer High School and returning from a tour in Afghanistan as a cannoneer in the United States Marine Corps, Sgt. Stucky began his college career at the University of North Texas where he met his future bride. He is working for UNT facilities while he completes his degree.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii near the Marine Corps base where Sgt. Stucky was stationed, the couple will reside in Denton.
