Just can’t wait to get on the road again

Drivers on Teasley Lane head toward Interstate 35E from Dallas Drive on Monday in Denton. The construction project to upgrade the intersection was completed last week — though traffic barrels are still out — according to this week’s construction report on the city of Denton website. The project, which began in early November, was originally scheduled to be finished in the spring, but rain delayed its completion until this past Friday. In terms of costs, the project was estimated to come in at around $698,000, which is about $52,000 under the original estimate of $750,000, because of contractor costs and the use of in-house crews.
