A work in progress

Construction crews work on finishing the new Denton County Courthouse building Tuesday in Denton. The new courthouse, located at 701 Karina St. off Loop 288, will be 96,000 square feet and cost around $43 million to build. It will house offices that are currently located in the Joseph A. Carroll Building and the Courthouse on the Square. It’s expected to be completed in fall 2020.
