A Victorian piano festival will kick off a fundraising classical music concert series in Pilot Point this weekend.

French musician Francis Vidil, a pianist and organist, is launching the series to help raise money to maintain and possibly restore the historic Central Christian Church in Pilot Point. The first concert will be at 7 p.m. this Saturday at the church, 201 E. Liberty St. in Pilot Point.

Vidil acquired a 19th century Weber square grand piano for the festival. He will perform the first concert of the series on the piano. Vidil will give half of the proceeds to Central Christian Church. Tickets cost $10, and sponsor tickets cost $20.
