Dunashay Thomas performs on the rooftop stage at Lone Star Attitude Burger Co. during Thin Line X. Tonight, Thomas’ family-friendly, guitar-based rock and roll band, the Dunashay Experience, plays Twilight Tunes on the Courthouse on the Square lawn.

The Dunashay Experience plays Twilight Tunes at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the downtown Denton Courthouse on the Square.

The band is the brainchild of artist Dunashay Thomas. The Dunashay Experience plays family-friendly, guitar-based rock and roll. Thomas leads the band with a clear tenor and rhythm guitar.

Twilight Tunes is a free concert series. Shows take place rain or shine, but in the event of heavy rains on Wednesdays or Thursdays, visitors can find out if the concert has been moved to a rain location by following Denton Main Street’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, or by checking on the organization’s website at www.dentonmainstreet.org/twilight-tunes at noon the day of the concert.

Attendees are encouraged to dine at or get takeout from nearby restaurants before or after the concerts. Some Thursdays, a bounce house is on the courthouse lawn for families.

The concert series ends this year with a closing show on June 27.

Up on June 27: Bonnie & Nick Norris, western swing.
