Director Ron Howard follows the distinguished, legendary tenor over his prolific career. Luciano Pavarotti was beloved for making opera — an elite form — more approachable to the masses, and who dealt with trials and triumphs with the focus of an athlete. Howard captured previously unknown details about Pavarotti.

The Lewisville cinema is one of 600 theaters around the country taking part in the premiere screening, which precedes the documentary’s wide release on Friday. Tickets cost $12.50 for adults, $10.50 for children 11 and younger, $11.50 for seniors 62 and older and students with valid IDs.
