The 33rd annual Fort Worth Alliance Air Show, renamed the AllianceTexas Aviation Expo presented by Bell, will take place Saturday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fort Worth Alliance Airport
Visitors can tour a variety of aircraft, including the F-126 Fighting Falcon, F-15 Eagle, A-10 Thunderbolt II, KC-135 Stratotanker and MH-60 Blackhawk helicopter from 9 a.m to 2 p.m.
A new 6-acre Landing Zone is open all day and includes interactive and educational exhibits, simulators and photo opportunities, a beer garden, food concessions, face painting, kids inflatables and a gift shop.
The aerial show is 3-5 p.m. and includes the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, F-22 Raptor demonstration team and other performers.
Since World War II, more than 67,000 aircraft have been built in North Texas.
General-admission parking passes cost $79 per vehicle and are sold online only, with no tickets available onsite. Visit www.atxaviationexpo.com.
