Kids College of Fun offers variety of classes

North Central Texas College is currently offering classes to kids age 6 to 14 at its Gainesville and Corinth campuses, according to a news release.

The classes will be offered through Adult and Continuing Education, as a part of the Kids College of Fun this summer. The program offers classes on painting, languages, photography, geology, horticulture, dance, business, creative writing and more.

This year, the program will have a drone class in July at both campuses.

Students will be taught Federal Aviation Administration rules regarding drones, learn to fly one and receive one with their $109 tuition. Space for this class is limited to 20 students. The deadline to register is July 22.

Students will also have the chance to compete in a first-ever slime contest. The winning student will be crowned King or Queen of Slime.

Classes began Monday and end Aug. 2. Tuition ranges from free to $109 and classes range from one day to one week.
