Tech Titans, the largest technology trade organization in the state, has named the University of North Texas Reconfigurable Computing Lab as a finalist for the annual Tech Titans university level award.
The award recognizes schools that encourage and support students in technology and engineering-related disciplines.
The Reconfigurable Computing Lab created an online puzzle game called Untangled in which players solve design problems with increasing difficulty. The answers have helped generate new algorithms for energy-efficient circuit designs, which help solve placement and architecture design challenges.
The awards will be presented during the Tech Titans Awards Gala on Aug. 23.
