The Denton Record-Chronicle hosted a candidate open house on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020.

Candidates spoke to us about their candidacy, and what voters should know about them. Four Democrats running for office attended, and three Republicans attended (one Republican had to bow out of the video shoot due to laryngitis).

Republican Dugan Broomfield runs against Republican incumbent Tracee Murphree for the Denton County Sheriff's post.
