On Thursday, Denton County Public Health confirmed another three locals residents’ deaths were caused by COVID-19.

The residents were a Sanger resident in her 70s, a Roanoke man in his 50s and a resident of Good Samaritan Denton Village who was over 80 years old.

Data included in the chart below is from Denton County Public Health, which estimated 15,274 county residents were still actively infected with the coronavirus Thursday. Data for the rolling average chart below comes from DCPH and an analysis from the Denton Record-Chronicle.
