Five more Denton County residents’ deaths were confirmed Monday to have been caused by COVID-19, according to Denton County Public Health.
That raised the countywide total to 743 such deaths confirmed by the department.
DCPH released only the following information about those confirmed dead:
- One Frisco man in his 50s
- One Frisco woman in her 70s
- One Pilot Point man in his 50s
- One Carrollton woman in her 50s
- One woman in her 70s who lived in unincorporated southeast Denton County
DCPH also confirmed another 165 coronavirus infections Monday, which raised the countywide total to 110,758. An estimated 5,401 of the people confirmed infected with the virus were still infected Monday.
DCPH’s Monday announcement included information from this past Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No reports were released on Thursday or Friday because of Thanksgiving, and the department does not release pandemic updates on weekends.
