Strittmatter Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing is now owned by New York-based HVAC and plumbing investment company Granite Comfort, according to a news release.
Strittmatter, founded in Denton in 2006 by Joe and Tawnya Strittmatter, will continue to operate under its brand but will adopt Granite Comfort’s rental strategy as part of the partnership. Called Ease Comfort, the program allows customers to lease energy-efficient HVAC systems or water heaters under long-term agreements with no upfront costs.
“Joining the Granite Comfort team will make available the Ease Comfort lease products and established best practices,” Strittmatter President Joe Strittmatter said in the release. “We focus on helping our local community and will offer our customers the most comprehensive HVAC and plumbing services in the industry.”
Strittmatter is Granite Comfort’s second acquisition in North Texas. The Strittmatters, along with Abe De La Rosa, who joined Strittmatter in 2012 and launched the plumbing business, will remain with the company following the sale.
