Dallas-based Huffines Communities is building a new 312-home residential project in Denton County.
Called Aspen Meadows, the 116-acre residential community is in Aubrey.
Homes in the project off of Frontier Parkway and FM2931 will start in the low $200,000s.
“Aspen Meadows will offer new home buyers all the small-town charm and still have easy access to the employment hubs in Collin, Denton and Dallas counties,” said Phillip Huffines, co-owner of Huffines Communities, in a statement. “With parks, trails, reasonably priced homes and amenities that focus on bringing residents together, this community is perfect for first-time home buyers and families who want to be part of a tight-knit community.”
Builders in the project include Gehan Homes, Lennar and Impression Homes. The first models will be ready next summer.
Trez Capital is providing funding for the development.
“Reasonably priced new homes, like those at Aspen Meadows, are in high demand throughout the [Dallas-Fort Worth] region,” John Hutchinson, president, central and southwestern U.S. for Trez Capital, said in a statement. “Huffines provides new homebuyers with communities that are built to last, and we are pleased to provide the financing that will help bring more affordable housing and strong communities to North Texas.”
Aspen Meadows will include 40 acres of open space, three parks, a trail system, a community pool, a community pavilion, a dog park, a playground and scenic overlooks.
Huffines Communities is currently building eight new residential communities in North Texas.
