Tetra Pak today announced a new president and CEO of its Denton-based U.S. and Canada division.
Twenty-year company veteran Seth Teply has stepped into the role, heading the food processing and packaging company's U.S. and Canada headquarters, which employs about 600 people. Teply was previously the division's vice president of services and succeeds Jeff Fielkow, who was appointed president January 2020.
Teply joined the company in 2001 as a process automation engineering intern and has served in various leadership roles since. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Valparaiso University.
“At a time of increased economic and environmental volatility, the food value chain is more important than ever," Teply said in a news release. "Our continued success in an increasingly competitive landscape is due in large part to the relentless dedication of our team to meet the needs of our customers. It is my privilege to take the helm of our organization as we continue to build for the future."
