We're betting 24-year-old wunderkind Alexander Wang has the commercial savvy to stick around. The California-born Chinese-American trained briefly at Parsons before launching a small collection of comfy knits in 2006. Barneys took notice first (doesn't it always?), and in 2007, Wang debuted his first full women's collection. His design manifesto is as individual as his ripped denim shorts, shrunken vests, slouchy trousers and oversized button-downs and blazers. “Anyone can get all dressed up and glamorous, but it is how people dress in their off days that are the most intriguing.”
