What is Faces and Places?

Faces and Places is a new feature that we will use to showcase local residents and events. This feature will be published each month, throughout the month, as photos of local events are submitted and as space allows.

We hope that this feature will show our readers how important it is to us to be able to showcase them as they attend area benefits, banquets and other events.

How will information be gathered? What is the process involved?

A running list of events will be made each month. A contact person involved with each event will be contacted and asked for the following information:

• Name of their event
• Date
• Time
• Location, and
• Purpose of the event (if any)

Contacts will also be asked for the event sponsor’s mailing address.

Photos are the key component of Faces and Places. The following information should be given to all participants in order to make the photo-gathering process as efficient as possible:

• Photos should be sent in JPEG format to drc@dentonrc.com. Photos can also be dropped of at 314 E. Hickory, Denton, TX 76201 or mailed to P.O. Box 369, 314 E. Hickory, Denton, TX 76201. We ask that all e-mails or mailed photos be labeled with “Faces and Places.”
• All individuals in the photographs should be identified by full name and information should be provided on the event.
